A compassionate professional, Ms. Walsh regularly counsels clients to achieve divorce with dignity.

Emily C. Walsh joined the firm in 2014. Ms. Walsh practices exclusively in the fields of matrimonial and family law, and represents clients in all aspects of matrimonial practice, including divorce, property division, child custody, parental access and visitation, parent coordination, spousal and child support, pre-nuptial agreements and post-nuptial agreements. Ms. Walsh has represented clients in Supreme and Family Court throughout the five boroughs of New York City as well as Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland, Orange and Ulster Counties as well as in the Appellate Division, Second Department.

Ms. Walsh is a Founding Member of the American Academy for Certified Financial Litigators. She has been named a “Top 40 Under 40” attorney in the area of Matrimonial and Family Law by the National Advocates annually since 2017.

 She is active in the New York State Bar Association, having served as a Young Lawyers liaison to the Family Law Section, as a representative for the Young Lawyers Section for the Ninth Judicial District, as co-chair for the New York State Bar Association Young Lawyers Civics Contest (an essay and poster contest for 11th and 12th graders throughout New York State), and as a member of the CLE Committee. Ms. Walsh also serves as an adjunct professor at St. John’s University School of Law, where she coaches teams of students competing with the Moot Court Honor Society in external competitions. During law school, Ms. Walsh was an Executive Board Member of the Moot Court Honor Society and a senior staff member of the New York International Law Review.

Ms. Walsh lives in New York City with her husband and three young children.
