New YorkDecember 11, 2017 – Miller Zeiderman LLP is pleased to announce that founding partners Faith Miller and Lisa Zeiderman have been admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States by the Honorable Lewis J. Lubell of the Westchester County Courthouse. They were among 32 attorneys from across the country to receive this distinguished honor on November 27th in Washington, D.C.

“I am delighted to join the group of talented lawyers allowed to practice before the Supreme Court,” said Miller. “Family law disputes are some of the most taxing experiences a family can go through and we are proud of the achievements we have made for our clients.”

Miller and Zeiderman, along with Evan Wiederkehr, founded the firm in 2013. It has offices in both White Plains and Manhattan, offering a full range of family and matrimonial law services, including financial analysis.

“Being able to practice before the Supreme Court is an incredible honor,” said Zeiderman. “Our priority is always to provide our clients with the very best legal services possible and we are looking forward to being able to do that before the very highest court.”

Miller focuses her work on providing experienced legal counsel across a broad spectrum of issues, ranging from support, equitable distribution and the myriad of financial issues confronting divorcing couples, such as to domestic violence, child custody, abuse and neglect. In addition to advocating for clients and children for over thirty years, she helps clients avoid the expense and emotional toll of litigation through her role as a New York court-recognized family law mediator and her collaborative law training. Miller, who has served on various committees in the Ninth Judicial, is a founding member of the American Academy for Certified Financial Litigators. She is also Treasurer of the Westchester Chapter of the Justice Brandeis Law Society and was a founding member of the Westchester County Law Guardian Association.

Zeiderman, an attorney and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, focuses her practice on areas of matrimonial and family law. With Zeiderman’ s CDFA certification, her work on the Advisory Board of the American Academy for Certified Financial Litigators and her membership in the National Association of Divorce Professionals, she is well placed to concentrate her focus on areas of equitable distribution of assets, child support, alimony and the negotiation and drafting of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. With her credentials, she is uniquely equipped to understand, negotiate and, if necessary, litigate high net worth and/or complex financial matters. Zeiderman is also certified as an Attorney for Children and has tried complex custody matters. In additional to her legal practice, Zeiderman serves on the Legislation Committee of the New York State Bar, Family Law Section, a member of the New York Women’s Bar Association and on the executive board of the Justice Brandeis Law Society.
