Jennifer McCabe joined Miller Zeiderman LLP in August 2024, bringing a diverse body of legal and professional experience stemming from more than two decades in Manhattan. She is a devoted and disciplined champion and counselor for her clients with a methodical and creative approach to matrimonial law matters. Most recently, McCabe was a family law attorney in Massachusetts, representing clients in all stages of divorce litigation, and is well-versed in handling adversarial matrimonial issues as well as emergency legal needs and representation involving custody and restraining orders. McCabe’s additional legal experience is drawn from her time in the New York State Supreme Court Commercial Division and other boutique Manhattan family law firms. Having also created and managed private offices for both a Manhattan-based C-suite executive and a NYC/Miami/Paris-based Private Equity Managing Director, she brings a know-how of navigating all matters related to very high-net worth individuals (VHNWI) and their families – and a familiarity with complex ancillary issues including intricate marital asset division, business and pension valuations, legacy and succession planning, tax planning and payments, trusts and estates, real estate portfolios, charitable giving, corporate and commercial law, and civil litigation matters.

McCabe also brings to Miller Zeiderman extensive experience with managing the brands and reputations of high-profile individuals having had a well-regarded career in media/press/communications before practicing law. McCabe was a TV news reporter in the City for several years, covering breaking news, politics, and conducting investigative reports. She also founded a strategic communications firm – serving as a media advisor to prominent entertainers, elected officials, and executives – helping manage their day-to-day press and crisis communications – delivering media responses, ensuring client risk mitigation, and enhancing reputation management.

Additionally, she brings a distinctive political and diplomatic fluency from her earlier positions in the U.S. Senate and The White House in Washington, D.C.
