Rowan DeGasperis joined Miller Zeiderman LLP in August 2023 after graduating from Fordham University School of Law in May 2023. 

Prior to joining Miller Zeiderman, Rowan represented parents of children with special education needs before an Impartial Hearing Officer through Fordham Law’s Lincoln Square Legal Services. Rowan also worked as a law clerk at National Center for Youth Law, supporting impact litigation efforts, and as a juvenile services intern at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia, representing young people at institutional disciplinary hearings before an administrative law judge. 

 Rowan was a member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal, the Fordham Law Voting Rights and Democracy Journal, and the Dispute Resolution Society’s Mediation Competition Team. In 2023, she received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award summa cum laude for completing over 1000 hours of pro bono work during her time at Fordham.
