Kevin Sylvester joined the firm in January 2024 after retiring as Chief of the Ossining Police Department. During his tenure as Chief, Kevin served as President of the Westchester County Chiefs of Police Association and the New York State Association of Chiefs of Police. He has been named a “Rising Star” by the Business Council of Westchester and by the Elizabeth Haub School of Law, and a “40 under 40” award winner by the International Association of Chiefs of Police. Kevin is a graduate of Empire State College with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a Juris Doctor from the Elizabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. He has served as adjunct faculty at Pace University and Westchester Community College. Before joining Miller Zeiderman LLP, Kevin managed a small law practice focused on residential and commercial real estate transactions. He also served as in-house counsel for a company specializing in third-party logistics. Kevin’s focus is on the client experience. He is accessible and responsive so each client can confidently navigate their case.
