Allie Lisner joined Miller Zeiderman LLP in August 2026.

Prior to joining Miller Zeiderman LLP, Allie was an associate in the Restructuring Practice at Latham & Watkins LLP, where she represented companies, lenders, shareholders, and other parties in high-stakes, in-court and out-of-court restructurings and distressed situations. That experience gave her deep familiarity with complex financial structures, valuation disputes, and creditors’ and equity holders’ rights — skills she now brings to bear on the financial complexities of equitable distribution, business valuation, and support determinations in divorce and family law matters.

Allie also has a long-standing commitment to advocacy on behalf of families and children. Her pro bono practice at Latham included representing survivors of gender violence and individuals seeking asylum, as well as parents of students with disabilities in special education matters. As a law student, she participated in Fordham’s Family Advocacy Clinic, representing parents seeking quality education services for their children within the New York City special education system, and interned with The Legal Aid Society of New York City in its Juvenile Rights Practice. 

During law school, Allie was a member of Fordham’s Urban Law Journal, served as the negotiation editor of the Dispute Resolution Society and was a competitor on the Fordham ABA Law Student Negotiation Team.  

Before law school, Alexandra earned a Master of Education from Southern Methodist University and taught third grade at a Title I elementary school in Texas — experience that continues to inform her work with families and children today.
